Electronic Mail

The Services may not be used to send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages, and is banned by the vast majority of Internet service providers worldwide which Ezznet, Inc. is held accountable. This includes, but is not limited to, bulk mailing of commercial advertising, informational announcements, charity requests, petitions for signatures, and political or religious messages. Such messages may only be sent to those who have explicitly requested it.

If you have a list of e-mail addresses that you have obtained from past clients or consumers who have signed up at your web site to specifically receive a newsletter (you must be able to display this link on your site) - then this would be allowed as long as the email you are sending provides all proper formatting (valid from address, opt out link, etc - see below for more details).

If you are obtaining (purchasing) a list of e-mail addresses from any 3rd party - it is likely that using this list would be considered bulk email and would constitute an AUP violation which would likely cause your services to be terminated.

The Services may not be used to collect responses from unsolicited e-mail (SPAM) sent from accounts on other Internet hosts or e-mail services which violate this Policy or the acceptable use policy of any other Internet service provider. Moreover, unsolicited e-mail may not direct the recipient to any web site or other resource that uses the Services.

Forging, altering or removing electronic mail headers is prohibited. However, you may insert additional characters into your from: and reply-to: addresses in order to prevent your true address from being automatically added to the mailing lists used by bulk e-mailers. In this case, your true address must remain obvious to any human viewer.

You may substitute "nospam.john.doe@yourdomain.com" for john.doe@yourdomain.com as long as whatever you substitute is a valid email address. And you must state clearly in the email for your customers to remove the "nospam." when replying to the email.

You may not reference Ezznet, Inc. (e.g. by including "Organization: Ezznet, Inc." in the header or by listing an IP address that belongs to the Ezznet, Inc.) in any unsolicited e-mail even if that e-mail is not sent through Ezznet, Inc.

You may not send out unsolicited bulk emails that link back to your iApp or any reference to your Ezznet web site.

You may not reference any Ezznet hosted email address for any unsolicited bulk emails.

"Mail bombing" is prohibited. That is, you may not send numerous copies of the same or substantially similar messages, nor may you send very large messages or files to a recipient with the intent to disrupt a server or account. The propagation of chain letters is similarly prohibited, whether or not the recipient wishes to receive such mailings.

Ezznet, Inc. is not responsible for the forwarding of e-mail sent to any account that has been suspended or terminated. Such e-mail will be returned to sender, ignored, deleted, or stored temporarily at our sole discretion.

Any client found to be using Ezznet, Inc. services for spam will be immediately terminated and all Ezznet’s services and products will be disabled. If you know of or suspect any violators, please notify us immediately at abuse@ezznet.net .
